Pastors Dean & Debrah Brown

    Rev. Dean A. Brown is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Alive Christian Center in the Bronx, New York.  He and his wife Debrah are the parents of two wonderful children Deanna and David.
    Pastor Dean, as he’s affectionately called, was called into the ministry in 1986 and has actively been involved in the ministry on a full-time basis since October 1993.  Since his call into the ministry, God has used him as an instrument to touch the lives of people through his simple, yet straight-forward teaching which has helped to take people to a higher level of living as they learn that “without expectation, there can be no manifestation, because your expectation is your faith in action”.  His personal ministry has taken him on ministry trips to Jamaica, Canada, Italy, Switzerland and Nigeria, as well as throughout the United States.    

    In April of 1993, Pastor Dean and his wife Debrah birthed into existence the ministry of Christ Alive Christian Center, a church that is “Blessed to be a blessing.”
    As a church, Christ Alive Christian Center aims to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ so they can fulfill their God-given purpose and be leaders in their generation.
    Pastor Dean is a 1990 graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he studied under the world renowned teaching ministry of the late Rev. Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin. He is ordained with the Rhema Ministerial Association International and served as one of its District Directors in the State of New York for nine years.

    Minister Debrah E. Brown is the Children’s Minister and the Coordinator of the Women’s Ministry at Christ Alive Christian Center. She loves ministering to children and women. Her passion is challenging women to raise their self-esteem so that they can become the “victorious women that God has called them to be”.
    Minister Debrah ministers at Christ Alive Christian Center, other local churches in the New York metropolitan area as well as other states and internationally.
    She is a graduate of Herbert H. Lehman College where she earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Dietetic Food and Nutrition.
    In August 2001, Minister Debrah was ordained as a Licensed Minister of the Gospel at Christ Alive Christian Center. She is also a member of the Executive Board of Christ Alive Christian Center.
